Michael Wilson Fox, born in England, received a B.A. in Veterinary Medicine from the Royal Veterinary College (1967); a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine (1967) and Doctor of Science degree in Ethology/Animal Behavior (1976) from the University of London.
